Ride Description: Awesome route with lots of brand new sections that descends from Gem Stone road junction with the R511 down towards Hennops (60-70km/h), a little wander along the South side of the Hennops on a new section (a technical rocky climb for the stronger groups), a long climb up to the highest point North of Northern Farm, absolutely awesome 100 km/h single track zig zag near Northern Farm (you've been here before only not like this), a trip through Laezonia (you haven't been here yet), and then 4km of flat single/jeep track in Gerhardsville (you aint been here either). Note that there be serious climbing on this route. The stronger groups break away from the main route at various points and then come back.

Bring money for a pretty tasty breakfast and/or coffee afterwards in great surrounds. Tatz would like to know before the ride how many of you are likely to stay afterwards (to improve there service).

Directions: Drive out on William Nicol (R511) past the Indaba, past Diepsloot, under the N14. From the N14 drive exactly 2.9 km past the Laezonia Castle Garage and turn left onto the Brits road (still the R511). Drive exactly 3.7km towards Hennops past Idle Winds and turn left into the Tatz Junction pub/restaurant (just after Gem Stone Road). If the gate is closed wait and the guard will open it.
