Starting From: The Cycle Hub @ Rietvlei Zoo Farm

Starting Time: 7h00 for 7h30

Ride Description: Jeep track and mostly single track much of which is windy forest single track. There is a 10km lap for the green group so you will do 2 laps. More technical sections off the 10km loop for the faster groups giving about 14km per lap. Red could do 3 laps if they are feeling strong - we can include parts of our Brackenhurst ride if it is not raining.

Note: We have to pay The Cycle Hub Rnn.nn (members and non-members alike). In addition, non-members pay R20 visitors fees to JMBC. There is a little restuarant next to The Cycle Hub so bring extra money for breakfast afterwards.

Directions: Ride the N3 through Gilloolys interchange. Near Alberton, take the N12 westwards (to the right) . Then take the R59 Vereniging southwards (to the left) . Drive 5km and take the Swartkoppies offramp. Turn right across the highway and drive 3.4 km and turn right into Rietvlei Zoo Farm. Park near The Cycle Hub bike shop. That is where you pay your R10 (this is not the standard rate charged by The Cycle Hub but an agreed rate between The Cycle Hub and JMBC). No other payment is required to the zoo farm (if they ask, tell them you are riding).
