Starting Time: 07h00 for 07h30 (PLEASE NOTE THAT WE’RE BACK TO SUMMER STARTING TIMES!)

Ride Description: Riding from the centre of Midrand all the way to Irene (except for Green) and back this flat route will take us along dirt roads, single track, jeep track and a very small bit of tar. Optional quick drinks break at the Smuts House turn-around for Blue and then back home mostly following the normal Midrand to Irene tracks. A relatively flat route – the only hills of note are to be found on the Irene loop. A cool ride so come along if you can handle the distance. Good training for the new Mini Tour de Jozi.

Green riders: This is not a ride for beginners but for experienced green riders. Contact Wayne (number below) if you want to ride with this group. If he doesn’t contact you before Saturday, the green group is ON (he will not contact you unless the ride is off). If there aren’t enough riders by Saturday (at least 7 without the leader), the group will be cancelled. So don’t just show up for the ride on Sunday as you might not have a group to ride with!

Directions: Coming from Johannesburg on the M1 motorway and heading for Pretoria, take the New Road off ramp in Midrand and turn left onto New Road. Drive 600 meters and turn left at the robots into Harry Galaun/Lever Road. Turn first right into the Carlswald Shopping Centre. Park in the main parking area near to Cappucino’s.
