Visitors are very welcome to join the ride. Just make sure to be there from 06:30 for 07:00. Ask one of the club members to introduce you to the ride coordinator who will assist with the legalities and help you join the right group which is based on skills, fitness and experience. Each group is led by a group leader and typically a sweep as well. Bring enough money for the venue entrance fee and extra money for breakfast afterwards if you wish to stay.

Ratings: Technical 4/10 Hills: 4/10 Distance: 23km (Green), 27km (Yellow), 33km (Red) & 42km (Blue).
Starting From: Smuts House – Irene
Ride Description: Starting from Smuts House the ride is an easy jaunt around the Smuts House area – Being this a family ride, emphasis was placed in shorter distances that will (hopefully) encourage stronger riders to take the leap into the next level. Stronger groups (Yellow+) will ride North along the railway line; riding uphill for a stretch at the N1 highway, then east down past Cornwall Hill followed by a climb up along next the R21. The Green group starts out immediately South East climbing up to the R21 to meet the other groups. All groups then do some nice single track down into the Red Barn race route; climbing up to the South end of the circuit and back North through a Red Barn section with a series of whoop-de-doos in and out of a dry river bed with nice berms on the opposite walls. We then wander back to Smuts House on all sorts of single and jeep track.
