JMBC Outride - Makiti
This Sunday's outride is from the popular * Makiti Conference and Wedding venue.

We do this ride anti-clockwise with the start / finish along the tar road past the caves. Enjoy the detour through the abandoned mine near Greensleeves. The middle section of the route uses the same sand road there and back with a big loop on the far Western side. Therefore always take the RIGHT branch on the GPS.

All groups follow the same route except Green & Yellow who turn back before the forest section. Everyone does the tricky rock garden so look out for the caves here, part of the Sterkfontein system. Then follow the sand road into the farm lands and return via the R24 and miles of flowing single-track.

This is a moderate rated ride and is suitable for all groups.

NB Summer ride times. We meet in the car park close to the entrance at 6:30am to ride at 7am, look out for the JMBC blue jerseys.

Guests are always welcome to join us at R30 per rider. Stay after the ride for a good coffee/beer and breakfast or waffle.

Requirements: A reasonable level of fitness is required, a tool kit and being familiar with riding on single track.
